Well our Big Bend trip didn't quite go as we planned, we still had a great time. We had planned to camp and take the 4x4 trails, but the 4x4 went out on the suburban right before we left. So we rented a VW that got 35 MPG, headed west and got a motel in Terlingua.
But we still got a lot of hiking miles in.
